Following a first date, Vicky remained unsure and she thought he was \u201ctoo nice\u201d. She stood him up the next date but soon after he stole her heart. \u201cIt took six years and for me to have a baby before he <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/articles\/traditional-engagement-etiquette\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">proposed<\/a> while on a New Year break with their baby daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They married at their art deco wedding on December 28, 2016 with 104 guests in the day plus another 35 in the evening. \u201cWe always wanted a Christmas wedding and the Arlington ballroom created the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/articles\/pull-off-ultimate-gatsby-wedding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">modern Gatsby idea<\/a>,\u201d smiles the bride. \u201cWe never intended on having such a big wedding but the people were the most important thing and the number kept rising.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vicky wanted everything looking super sharp, refined
