{"id":217796,"date":"2017-10-28T07:00:50","date_gmt":"2017-10-27T20:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/uk\/real-weddings\/amy-and-peter-design-child-friendly-boho-beach-wedding\/"},"modified":"2024-03-14T11:11:57","modified_gmt":"2024-03-14T00:11:57","slug":"amy-and-peter-design-child-friendly-boho-beach-wedding","status":"publish","type":"uk-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/real-weddings\/uk\/real-weddings\/amy-and-peter-design-child-friendly-boho-beach-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"Amy and Peter design child-friendly boho beach wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Five years, two kids, a couple of dogs and one mortgage after meeting, Amy Coates married her beau Peter Baker.<\/p>\n<p>The Brighton couple, aged 29 and 32 respectively, married at their boho beach wedding on June 17, 2017 at El Chiringuito Cala Gracioneta in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/articles\/nobody-tells-eloping\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ibiza<\/a>. \u201cChoosing the venue was easy! We typed in top beach wedding destinations and there was the place!\u201d explains the bride. \u201cSo we took a little trip out there to see the venue and meet with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/planning-tools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wedding planner<\/a> and from then all I had to do was email them and they did the hard work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although it was a long engagement for the couple, Amy said it worked out well for them to take the time to create their dream wedding. An added bonus was the children\u00a0were then old enough to enjoy and remember the day. \u201cI designed most of the wedding around my dress,\u201d says Amy. \u201cI had pinned It on Pinterest years ago and had my heart set on it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pair took extra care to make sure the wedding was kid-friendly. \u201cI filled bags with loads of beach toys and games for the day, and flashy disco rings and balloons.
