{"id":211672,"date":"2017-04-24T07:00:01","date_gmt":"2017-04-23T21:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/uk\/real-weddings\/london-sets-scene-meghan-nics-boho-city-wedding\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T11:34:45","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T00:34:45","slug":"london-sets-scene-meghan-nics-boho-city-wedding","status":"publish","type":"uk-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/real-weddings\/uk\/real-weddings\/london-sets-scene-meghan-nics-boho-city-wedding\/","title":{"rendered":"London sets scene for Meghan and Nic&#8217;s boho city wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">From their first date in\u00a0Clerkenwell to weekend trips to Borough Market &#8211; London has been there every step of the romance journey for\u00a0Meghan Doyle and Nic Dawson.<\/p>\n<p>So it made sense for Meghan, 30, and Nic, 33, \u00a0to centre their boho city wedding around South London.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wanted a London wedding that felt like places we enjoy, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/WeddingCaterers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">food we like to eat<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/WeddingMusic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a party we\u2019d want to crash<\/a>. We also wanted our guests to feel like they could relax and be themselves,&#8221; Meghan says.<\/p>\n<p>One hundred and fifty family and friends flew in from across the UK and US (where Meghan is originally from) for the ceremony on June 17, 2016 at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/WeddingVenues\/LondonCity\/Asylum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> The Asylum<\/a>. The celebrations continued at Tanner and Co. in\u00a0Bermondsey.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our wedding day was perfect. \u00a0We made a list of must-haves and tried to let the rest fall into place,&#8221; Meghan says.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was a completely joyous day and people are still telling us how much fun they had and how much they overate! He had stashed several <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/WeddingInvitations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beautiful cards<\/a> around the room for me to find and open in sequence. Each card was paired with a pink peony, my favourite flower. As I opened the final card he got down on one knee,&#8221; Meghan says.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-98002\"
