\u201cAll those years you search for the person and you\u2019re never really sure if you\u2019ll ever find them or if they truly exist.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sophie Barden realised that person does in fact exist, when she met her future husband Scott Barron on a night out in 2010. The Orpington couple married at their classic garden wedding<\/a> on a summer’s day; June 3, 2016. The 110 guests, who had travelled from as far as New Zealand to the Preston-based wedding, were the focus of the bride and groom\u2019s day.<\/p>\n

The couple, aged 26 and 28 respectively, pulled out all the stops to make sure their loved ones had a good time. \u201cThe guests were our main concern, getting the guest list right was key to us as with the right people you can have a party anywhere<\/a>,\u201d explains Sophie. \u201cThe sum up our day I would say it was filled with love, laughter, Jager bombs and dance offs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guests were treated to chocolate boxes as favours<\/a>, made by the bride\u2019s uncle who owns a confectionery company. \u201cThe evening food<\/a> was a fish and chip van we found online \u2026 they served mini fish and chips with all the trimmings including mushy peas,\u201d says the bride. For desert, a naked three-tiered sponge cake<\/a> took front and centre, flavoured salted caramel and toffee cream, chocolate with white chocolate ganache and Madeira sponge with milk chocolate ganache.<\/p>\n

” I found a poem called The Perfect Man<\/em> by Bob Marley that sums up my love for Scott,” smiles the bride.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
