{"id":200148,"date":"2015-12-06T17:00:55","date_gmt":"2015-12-06T06:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/uk\/real-weddings\/molly-lewis-share-charming-country-wedding-loved-ones\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T10:11:39","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T23:11:39","slug":"molly-lewis-share-charming-country-wedding-loved-ones","status":"publish","type":"uk-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/real-weddings\/uk\/real-weddings\/molly-lewis-share-charming-country-wedding-loved-ones\/","title":{"rendered":"Molly and Lewis share charming country wedding with loved ones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1 lead\"><span class=\"s1\">A simple, yet elegant country wedding was the only way Molly Jeakings and Lewis White could imagine spending their special day, surrounded by loved ones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Lewis made his special proposal on Dublin\u2019s Ha\u2019penny Bridge, that Molly accepted straight away. \u201cI was freezing and wanted to get to the hotel, but Lewis insisted on stopping in the middle of the bridge,\u201d remembers Molly. \u201cHe got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!\u201d Their fate was sealed with Lewis\u2019 grandmother&#8217;s beautiful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/articles\/a-brides-guide-to-engagement-ring-care\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">engagement<\/a> ring, the perfect personal sentiment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The couple, aged 24 and 27 respectively, married at St Andrews Church, Biggleswade, on August 8, 2015, followed by a country style reception in the church hall\u00a0field. Decorated with love and endless amounts of quaint detailing, the marquee, supplied by Millhouse Marquees, was home to a feast of fruit scones, made by Molly\u2019s nan and a hog roast supplied by Springbok BBQ.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cOur wedding day was perfect &#8211; the weather was on our side and it was sunny from morning until night,\u201d says Molly. She was overwhelmed by the care and support given by friends and family to bring their day together. \u201cA couple of my friends even slept in the marquee overnight, acting as security.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The maid of honour and bridesmaids wrote a song to the tune of <em>Grease\u2019s<\/em> famous &#8220;Summer Lovin\u2019&#8221;, family friends provided the bar and Lewis\u2019 speech still remains one of Molly\u2019s most-loved moments, showing just how endearing and joyful the day really was.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic, a moment made by all as part of their <a
