However, France was where they wanted to wed. \u201cWe both love everything French; the food, the romance and the balmy summer nights under the stars,\u201d says Katie.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"10 things to consider when choosing your wedding venue\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/articles\/wedding-venue-questions-to-ask-before-you-book\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">They chose<\/a> a 14th century castle in the heart of the Loire Valley for their August 19, 2015 wedding. \u201cThe castle and the grounds were spellbinding, there was even a large orangery we could use for dancing the night away and a secret walled garden where we hid notes for our guests attached to vintage keys,\u201d smiles Katie.<\/p>\n<p>Their wedding planner spent weeks preparing the venue in France, as she also happened to be travelling Europe at the time. \u201cSheree [of She Designs] travelled the country buying beautiful vintage pieces to style the wedding, an antique chaise lounge, chandeliers over 300-years-old and vintage lace to hang from the olive trees lining the long trestle tables in the courtyard,\u201d explains Katie.<\/p>\n<p>The bride explains the lead up to the day, trying to deal with French suppliers and not speaking a word of French, as \u201ccomplete chaos\u201d \u2026 but says \u201cthe day itself was magical.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Photos courtesy of <a title=\"James Frost
