{"id":197971,"date":"2015-09-27T23:00:55","date_gmt":"2015-09-27T13:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.easyweddings.com\/uk\/real-weddings\/sky-full-stars-lancashire-vintage-wedding-amy-trevor\/"},"modified":"2022-03-17T09:57:33","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T22:57:33","slug":"sky-full-stars-lancashire-vintage-wedding-amy-trevor","status":"publish","type":"uk-real-wedding","link":"https:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/real-weddings\/uk\/real-weddings\/sky-full-stars-lancashire-vintage-wedding-amy-trevor\/","title":{"rendered":"Sky full of stars: A Lancashire vintage wedding for Amy and Trevor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Teachers Amy Rae and Trevor Smith combined their (other) great loves into a picture-perfect vintage wedding.<\/p>\n<p>For geography teacher Trevor, 31, it&#8217;s clouds and for science teacher Amy, also 31, it&#8217;s stars.<\/p>\n<p>Amy, from Thornton Cleveleys, and Trevor, from Wigan, weaved their skyward theme into their summer wedding celebrations in Lancashire on July 24, 2015.\u00a0<a title=\"Bomboniere - Easy Weddings\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/Bomboniere\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wedding favours<\/a> included personalised gingerbread stars and the reception venue was dressed in silver with twinkling fairy lights adorning the ceiling.<\/p>\n<p>The pair wed at the church they both attend regularly &#8211; St Mary Magdalen&#8217;s, Accrington. &#8220;The service was very special to us both,&#8221; says Amy. &#8220;The school choir sang &#8211; beautifully I might add &#8211; and we lit a candle in memory of my late father.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>About 100 family and friends attended the nuptials, with 160 taking part in the evening celebrations at <a title=\"Stanley House Hotel\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyweddings.co.uk\/WeddingVenues\/Lancashire\/StanleyHouse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stanley House Hotel<\/a>. Guests were kept well entertained with a magician, quiz master and live band, Madison.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our first dance was to &#8216;Iris&#8217; by the Goo Goo Dolls,&#8221; says Amy. &#8220;It was
