But it all started with a chance meeting in aforementioned \u201ccrowded room\u201d. Maxine says the two exchanged numbers but she didn\u2019t expect much as James was headed away for a work trip. \u201cJames jetted off for five months to work a season in Corfu! I didn\u2019t expect to hear from him again but he text me every single day,\u201d she smiles.<\/p>\n<p>Five years into the relationship Maxine says she had given up all hope of a proposal, but clearly James was just waiting for the perfect setting. \u201cWhen he proposed at a Bruno Mars concert I was in complete shock, just like the rest of the crowd who were hugging us and taking our photo,\u201d recalls Maxine.<\/p>\n<p>Their wedding was informal and intimate with\u00a0prompters for guests to get to know one another. \u201cWe had games on the tables to encourage people who didn\u2019t know each other to talk and get involved,\u201d says Maxine. And their supplier hunting was a little outside the square when it came to the music. \u201cWe also had an acoustic guitarist who we found busking in the street,\u201d she laughs.<\/p>\n<p>Photos
