“Team Fosh” had a very clear vision for their rustic boho wedding.
The pair, who married on September 4, 2016, used Team Fosh (a combo of Fiona and Josh) as a hashtag in the lead up to their wedding day, creating plenty of momentum for their guests. “My brother is a graphic designer so it was easy to have this built in,” explains the bride. “We also had him make a stencil so we could add the hashtag onto some of the weddings props we had.”
Their chosen venue of Dodford Manor in Northamptonshire’s rolling countryside was the ideal blank canvas for the couple to make the space their own. “That said, we picked the venue based on the fact that we liked the way it looked when it wasn’t dressed,” explains Fi. “The chairs didn’t require covers and the beams looked great with and without decoration.”
Some savvy shopping options also helped style the venue without blowing the budget, including recycled vases from Tesco and collecting bunting for over 18 months in the lead up to the big day. “There were lots of others additions on the tables including wooden confetti and Team Fosh wooden signs.”
“My best memory was seeing Josh as I walked up the aisle,” recalls Fi. “I didn’t notice anyone else in the room and thought I would be terrified to do ‘the walk’.”

Fiona didn’t at all enjoy wedding dress shopping, but finally found ‘the one’ after a recommendation from her aunty. “I just had to convince Josh it was worth the price,” she laughs.
All four tiers of the couple’s cake were different designs and flavours.
