Creative duo Lisa Caldognetto and Christopher Coleman worked together to include the quirky things they love at their Halloween wedding.
“We are both creative people, I was working as a makeup artist and Christopher as a tattooist, so we were eager to add our personal touch to our day,” Lisa, 31, says.
“We collected deer and cow skulls to have on the walls and created a Mexican feel with the traditional blankets, day of the dead bride and groom figurines and hand made paper chains. We do love Halloween as a holiday and wanted nods to it within the decor using props like gold and white pumpkins, vampire fangs and a scythe.”
Lisa and Christopher, also 31, live in Frome, Somerset, and say their lovely artisan town was the perfect location for their Halloween-themed nuptials.
The couple wed at Rook Lane Chapel, Frome, on October 31, 2015 in front of 150 friends and family.
Reception celebrations were held at The Silk Mill, which Lisa describes as “a lovely blank space” that allowed the creative couple to work their decorating magic.
“The day felt like a romantic waking dream,” Lisa says of the big day.
“It was such a beautiful and overwhelming experience having everyone we love together in one place to celebrate our special day.”

Lisa’s bespoke wedding gown featured a plunge front and back, lace beading and sheer silk on the lower half.
A classic three-piece suit had Christopher looking the part for the Halloween wedding.
Orange delight: stunning wedding photography captured all the big moments, and created some too!
Christopher and Lisa met through mutual friends. “Christopher was working as a sound engineer and I would go to watch gigs there and we took a liking to each other. A mutual friend saw this and insisted we go for a drink, sparks flew from there,” Lisa says.
Following their big day, the couple jetted off for a tour of Sri Lanka and the Maldives with help from Kuoni.
