Sasha had always wanted to celebrate a winter wedding, so when the Northbrook Park had a December date available, her and fiancé Nick locked it in.
The pair, aged 31 and 33 respectively, married on December 7, 2018 with 160 people in Surrey. “We agreed that we didn’t want it to be a Christmas themed wedding, but rather, touches of wintery glamour — white, green and metallic golds and silvers, with an emphasis on elegant lighting and hints of feathers and fur,” describes the bride.
A stunning Christmas tree with simple white lighting set the tone for the day, followed by white and gold tables settings at the reception, with a pine cone for each guest. “The low flower settings were created by my granny, with the hand-held bouquets and the tall flowers done in a similar style,” says Sasha. “It was really special to have the help of my family — granny with the flowers, mum made the tall cheese tower, and my best friend’s brother was the band, and an usher was the DJ for later on!”
A roaring fire in the reception room topped the night off, with a sparkler exit for the newlyweds.

“There are so many great ones where he caught the light in an interesting way, and the light rain in some of ours look so magical,” Sasha says of their photographer.
“Having been to a lot of weddings already, and most in the summer, we wanted ours to be a bit different,” says Sasha.
“I wore a feather bolero that really amped up the glamour of my fishtail Pronovias dress and sparkly diamante Louboutin’s,” says
“Our priorities were the food, drink and music, as well as the photography and videographer to capture all those special moments,” says the bride.
