It was important to Erin and Josh to remember loved ones that couldn’t attend their special day.
The pair, aged 26 and 28 respectively, married at their industrial wedding on November 2, 2018 with 170 guests during the day and 230 in the evening. The ceremony and reception took place at The Pumping House in Nottinghamshire.
“There were members of our family who sadly are no longer around and I knew I wanted them to be part of our day somehow,” explains the bride. “Josh’s grandpa had always been an important part of his life, and I had been lucky enough to meet him. My grandparents and my mum’s best friend who were big parts of my life and would have loved to have been at our wedding. I found an amazing supplier who handmade personalised silk butterflies. I sent pictures to her and I was amazed with what she produced.”
The Pumping House venue wowed guests with its red brick and industrial grey décor. “We loved the unique themed rooms upstairs and the huge engine room downstairs,” smiles Erin. “The accommodation the venue had was incredible.”

“We wanted a large venue to accommodate our friends and family,” the bride explains of The Pumping House.
“A relaxed ceremony followed by lots of beers, prosecco and gin before sitting down to the most incredible meal,” Erin says of the day.
The groom was dressed head to toe by Next Retail Ltd.
Guests were entertained at the reception with live music and a photobooth from PicMe.
