When Francesca and Andrew caught the travel bug, they made it their mission to visit 30 countries before their 30th birthday.
In 2016, Francesca and Andrew crossed the border into Canada – the couple’s 30th country. It was there, while enjoying a helicopter ride over Niagara Falls, Andrew popped the question.
The Maidenhead couple, both now 32, married on April 6, 2018 with a ceremony at St. Anne’s Church in Wandsworth and a reception for 140 guests at Morden Hall in South London.
Their love of travel translated into the day through a travel-themed raffle for the wedding favours.
“Each guest had a wallet-sized card with a map of the world, a number and a poem. During the speeches, we drew a number from a jar and that person won a trip for two to Europe – courtesy of BuyaGift. Sometimes favours are forgotten or left behind so we wanted something special that one of our guests could treasure.”
As for their next trip away, the newlyweds say they’re off to New Zealand!

An avid football lover, Andrew had Barcelona colours sewn into his suit lining.
Flowers by Eve created Francesca’s simple but elegant bridal bouquet.
For the seating plan, Andrew chose his ‘ultimate Barcelona dream team’. Francesca drew the plan as a football pitch, and guests were sat at a player’s namer. The top table was No. 10 for Lionel Messi!
