“It was love at first swipe.”
Charlotte, 28, and Cameron, 40, met on a dating app and have been inseparable ever since. They married at their whimsical forest wedding on May 11, 2019 at TreeHouse Point in Seattle, Washington. ”The venue was selected by Cam, who has grown up with a love of nature,” explains the bride. “As soon as I saw it I knew it was perfect!”
The couple planned the day to be as intimate as possible, inviting just 40 loved ones. “Everything from our day was as intimate as we had hoped — we chose my sister-in-law who knew us the most as our photographer, Cam’s best friend married us, our friends helped with the set up and running of the day,” says Charlotte. “Jess was phenomonal — she knows how to capture the most perfect moments. In some of them, we felt completely alone.”
The couple even had wine named after them (Charlotte, Cameron and Hall), which they found across Washington. “For our colour scheme, we opted for blush tones and neutrals, so it wouldn’t detract away from the beautiful forest background but simply complement its elegance and beauty.”

“She is humble, extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with,” Charlotte said of their photographer, Jess.
“The moment was perfect and was set in Cathedral Park in Portland, with the same musician company that we decided to get married with,” Charlotte says of the proposal.
“Our wedding proves that all walks of life can come together and fall in love,” smiles the bride.
“Plan as early as possible — it’s scary how quickly everything starts coming together within the last few weeks,” is the bride’s advice for others planning a wedding.
