How to turn a run-of-the-mill Saturday morning into a memorable one? Propose!
Louise Boulton, 27, was at home when Byron Wells, 30, popped the question. “It was just your normal average Saturday morning, which turned into a very exciting and memorable day when Byron got down on one knee in the living room,” smiles Louise.
The couple planned an elegant wedding for June 14, 2014 with 70 guests during the day and 100 in the evening. The bride says many have labelled it “the wedding that stretched three counties”. “I got ready at my parents’ house in Surrey, we got married in Hampshire and we had the reception in Berkshire!” she laughs.
Their church ceremony at All Saints’ Church was followed by a hotel reception at Coworth Park. It was smooth sailing except for one slip up during the couple’s vows – Byron said the wrong name! “Luckily, he only got my first name and middle name round the wrong way and not a random name, otherwise there would have been trouble,” laughs Louise.
The couple honeymooned in Seychelles which Louise describes as “total paradise.”
