How We Met:

Jasmine and Matt worked together at Harvey Norman seven years ago.

The Proposal:

After dating for just over three years Matt and Jasmine along with Jasmine's family and close family friends went camping in Kojonup the Easter long weekend in April 2009. On the Saturday they decided to climb Bluff Knoll, once they got to the top Matt got down on one knee in amongst the clouds and asked Jasmine to marry him. He had also carried a bottle of champagne and two glasses in his back pack so they could celebrate at the top of the mountain with their family.

Wedding Dress:

Jasmine wore an ivory coloured sweet heart neck line strapless fishtail gown. The dress was detailed with pearls and Swarovski crystals. The skirt of the dress was layered with vintage lace and had a very Spanish vintage feel.

Accessories:

The accessories Jasmine wore were; vintage teardrop silver pearl and Swarovski crystal earrings, her grandsmother's vintage silver pearl ring as her something old, her mother's handkerchief from her wedding as her something borrowed and a pearl and Swarovski crystal hair clip at the top of her three metre lace hand made veil.

Groom's Attire:

Matt wore a traditional black suit with tails, an ivory vest, tie and hank.

Bridesmaids

The three bridesmaids wore champagne mushroom brown floor length gowns designed by Jasmine. Each dress had a slightly different neckline with crystal beading below the bust. The maid of honour had a low cut neckline, one bridesmaid had an off the shoulder style and the other had a high halter neckline.

Wedding Theme:

The theme for the wedding was very classic and vintage with ivory and white as the main colours.

Flowers:

Jasmine held a tear drop bouquet of white cala lilies and oriental lilles while her bridesmaids held round bouquets of the same flowers. The groom and groomsmen along with the father of the bride and the father of the groom had button holes of a single white cala lily. The mother of the bride and the mother of the groom each had a corsage of similar flowers.

Ceremony Reception Decor

The Ceremony was decorated with flower arrangements of Cala Lilies and Oriental lilies. Caversham House where the Reception was held if so beautiful and vintage already that it did not need much decorating, Jasmine hand made all the stationery and the centre pieces were simple with a tall vase filled with water with 3 Cala lilies floating insde and a floating candle on top.

Transport:

To follow on with the vintage feel for our wedding we had two cars, one was a charcoal and silver Bentley S2 for my Father and I to travel to the church in, then after the Ceremony for Matt and I, and the second car for the bridal party was a charcoal and silver Royal Daimler.

Bomboniere:

Each guest received a small photo album as their bomboniere.

Cake:

As we wanted a very classic style wedding we wanted something simple but still beautiful. The cake we had was made by glory box cakes in perth and its called the Chanel cake. it was a three tier white chocolate and dark chocolate mud cake, which was to die for. it was ivory coloured and covered with hand drawn detailing on two of the three tiers and topped with roses.

Entertainment:

We hired Dj Rod to be our DJ and MC.

Honeymoon:

Matt and I Honeymooned for 5 weeks, we went to LA, Anaheim, Vegas and Mexico. To finish it off we did a 12 night cruise around the Hawaiian Islands and spent an extra 2 night in Honolulu before coming home.

Special Moments:

The most special moments would have been, getting ready with my mum and Bridesmaids, the beautiful moment i shared with my dad on the way to the church, the first time i saw Matt waiting in the church and the moment i became Matt's wife, actually the whole day was a special moment, I wouldn't change a thing about my day.

Tips:

Be super organised, the more organised you are the less you have to worry about come the week of the wedding. Ask for help when you need it and just really enjoy the day with your new husband, make sure you have time just the two of you at some point to really feel the love your sharing on that day.
