Wedding planning for some brides can be super stressful – but for Kelly Elmore it was an absolute joy.
Kelly and her beau of 13 years, James Noble, married at their rustic wedding on September 5, 2015 at Barton Hall, Kettering. The pair, aged 28 and 29 respectively, met while in high school.
With 18 months to plan their special day, Kelly says she was a very organised bride. “We booked almost everything straight away so then we could focus on all the finer details,” she says. “I loved every minute of planning and miss it so much.”
Her expert planning certainly paid off, with many special memories on the day, and plenty to keep guests entertained. “We had football, giant Jenga, badminton and croquet,” smiles Kelly. “The evening was really memorable with a limbo competition on the dance floor.”
But the best part of their fun-filled day? “Finally marrying my best friend after all these years,” beams the bride.

Kelly’s stunning Courtyard Bridal Boutique gown wowed guests. “On the hanger it looked so plain, but on it just felt so soft and elegant,” she says.
“My bouquet consisted of roses and gypsophila with foliage,” says Kelly.
“We had a string quartet play during our ceremony and drinks reception,” explains the bride.
“So many people commented on the details and personal touches which I was really happy about as I did spend a lot of time putting everything together,” smiles Kelly.
