Hairdresser Steph Browne and barber Chris Stevenson share a unique sense of style and they brought this in spades to their relaxed eclectic wedding.
The couple met years earlier in Melbourne when they were working across the road from each other.
“After seven years I lured him back to England to have a baby and start our own empire,” Steph, 32, says.
Chris, 38, proposed a month after the couple welcomed their baby boy.
“It was at home with our baby in our arms. Perfect,” Steph says.
The Brighton pair wed on June 30, 2017 in front of 70 family and friends at the city’s grand Royal Pavilion.
The bride wore a 1950s-style vintage gown complete with ruffled pink underskirt, while Chris looked the part in a crisp navy suit.
Celebrations for the couple continued at the Coach House restaurant. The couple wanted to create a low-key, family friendly affair – with a quirky twist.
“Our friends played a Prince tribute on a yazoo,” Steph says in tribute to one of their favourite artists.
