Have you ever heard of a motocross themed wedding?
It was a present, but subtle, touch at the traditional wedding of Kim, 28, and Ryan, 27. They married on July 26, 2018 with 120 guests at Netley Hall in Shropshire. “I felt weddings can always be very much about the bride so wanted to include Ryan also,” explains the bride. “And seeing as motocross is such a big part of his life, we named the tables after motocross tracks, had photos of him at said tracks as table place names and had mini-motocross bikes personalised to sprinkle on the table – alongside lots of rose gold, navy and flowers.”
Kim says the touches helped make it a day for both of them, and she never had a picture in her mind anyway. “I’m not one of those girls who had their wedding planned from a young age, I always knew I wanted to get married and had seen so many nice images online but when it came to organising my own wedding I didn’t know where to start!”

“I loved my dress – I’m not a real girly girl and am definitely more of a trouser than dresses type of person … but as soon as I put it on I fell instantly in love!” recalls Kim of her gown from Shropshire Country Brides.
“Though Netley Hall has the option to get married outside in front of the stunning lake, we opted to get married in the house which showcased an amazing staircase which sold the venue to us as soon as we saw it,” describes the bride.
All six bridesmaids wore matching rose gold sequin and blush-coloured dresses.
“I loved how Phil had a vision of how certain photos would look and knew exactly how/where we should position ourselves to get the best photographs,” smiles Kim when talking about their snapper.
