Elisha and Jonny are a couple who know what they want.
“We met when a mutual friend’s band was playing in a pub when Jonny was 15 and I was 16. We both went to see the show and the rest is history,” Elisha says.
After getting engaged in Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower, the pair were just as certain about their future wedding venue – Beeston Manor in Lancashire.
“I saw an advert on Facebook for their open day – went along, loved it and secured our date less than two weeks after our engagement,” Elisha says.
The barn-style venue was the perfect backdrop to the white rustic wedding, held on December 22, 2018.
Elisha caught the DIY bug, cross-stitching all the place names, creating the menus and putting together the favours.
“I looked for inspiration online and went with log slices, jam jars, lanterns and as many tealight holders as they’d let me have,” the bride says of her decorating style.
Baby’s breath, classic white blooms and bunting added to the rustic styling.
Summing up their white rustic wedding in one word, the bride describes it as perfect.
“Seeing how emotional Jonny and the family were was one of my favourite moments from the day,” she says.

Passion Flowers created the classic white bouquets.
Jonny and his groomsmen wore classic grey suits from Slaters.
“It’s both of you against everything, never against each other,” Elisha says about the secret to their strong relationship.
“He’s brilliantly funny,” the bride says of Jonny, while he describes Elisha as “super sweet”.
