For American bride Chelsea, it was love at first sight when she had to interview English-born Paul for a press release for their workplace in New York City.
“We bonded over our passion for tennis, travel and sense of adventure,” says the bride who now resides in Brighton with Paul.
The pair aged 30 and 40 celebrated their coming together with a June 28, 2018 classic garden wedding held at Hever Castle and Gardens in Kent.
80 guests were treated to a three-course meal ending with a fresh passionfruit soufflé with coconut ice-cream to cleanse their palette before the main event – a Purple Flour buttercream masterpiece divided into three tiers of double chocolate, espresso and walnut and carrot cake.
Celebrations continued into the night with an eight-piece brass band to keep everyone on the dance floor.
“As an American bride and an English groom, our wedding offered guests quintessential English romance. The two sides of families who were meeting each other for the first time joined together in an outpouring of love.”

“We were so incredibly lucky to have a stunning blue-sky day.”
