The rich golds and oranges of autumn inspired this enviable styled shoot from Amanda Steed Hair and Makeup.
Business owner Amanda explains that the autumn styled shoot was based on the colours and textures of the season.
Amanda also used the oranges and greens of succulents to add a fresh element to the look.
“The shoot was held at a friend’s country home in Norfolk – Hockering House,” says the hair and makeup artist of 10 years.
“I asked Jemma Mickleburgh from JMA Photography to be our photographer, I was so pleased she was available for this collaboration as Jemma creates the most stunning images and always uses natural lighting.”
Models wore hand-made dresses designed by Katrine Mogensen, using delicate fabrics to add a touch of bohemian whimsy.
“We wanted to show off the whole of the dress but concentrating on the back was essential on this shoot,” Amanda says.
When it came to the all-important hair and make-up, Amanda showcased three different looks – a classic up-do with bold eyes, a bohemian fishtail braid and a delicately curled style with flower crown.
“[We wanted to] inspire our brides to use colour and texture in ideas for hair and makeup,” Amanda says.
