After meeting online, Adam Linney and Glen Stuart quickly became hooked.
“He wasn’t like anyone I’d ever met. We moved in together after only dating for around three months, which was unheard of for me,” Adam, 29, says.
“Years passed and I decided I was going to propose! I took him away to a beautiful special spot on the north coast or Cornwall and we went down to the beach, alone as the tide was fast coming in, I had to be quick! I took him underneath a waterfall and proposed. He said yes!”
Adam and Glen, 35, stayed in Cornwall for their autumn wedding at Polhawn Fort on October 5, 2016 in front of 100 family and friends.
Family helped decorate the stunning venue with autumn blooms and rustic touches.
“Being married as two men is a wonderful feeling of progress and unity and we are so glad we have found each other,” says Adam.

Both grooms wore suits and shoes from Slaters.
“Glen is so selfless and kind,” Adam says of his new husband.
“The rings in the photos are stand-ins whilst ours were being designed to our tastes,” Adam explains. “We left it two weeks before the wedding to ring shop!”
The couple also had a traditional handfasting ceremony. “It was so unique and special,” Adam says.
Photographs taken on the beach at Cornwall paid tribute to where Adam popped the question.
Glen’s dad stayed up until the early hours to complete the beautiful four-tier wedding cake.
