Ceremonies at COMO Castello Del Nero can take place in the consecrated San Michele Chapel, beneath the cedar tree in the Italian Gardens, or across the estate’s terraces and historic rooms. Receptions range from open-air dinners overlooking the Chianti countryside to celebrations inside the castle, with Sala delle Volte allowing the party to continue beyond midnight. Weddings can accommodate up to 120 guests, with a full estate buyout available.

Menus are tailored to each celebration, with a focus on Italian produce and seasonal ingredients. The team can also assist with florals, styling, entertainment and photography.

Your Experience

The castle’s 50 rooms and suites accommodate up to 117 guests, allowing most of the wedding party to stay together on the estate. Around the celebrations, guests can unwind at COMO Shambhala Retreat, explore the Tuscan countryside or spend the day discovering nearby Florence, Siena and San Gimignano.

Ceremonies can take place in the historic San Michele Chapel, among the Italian Gardens or on the Panoramic Terrace, surrounded by the Tuscan countryside. Elsewhere on the estate, couples can choose Sala Gran Camino, Sala delle Volte, Sala Piccolo Camino, the Wine Cellar, La Taverna or the Pavilion, with settings ranging from intimate castle interiors to open-air celebrations.

Outdoor receptions are best had on the Panoramic Terrace, Garden Terrace or Italian Gardens, making the most of the surrounding Tuscan countryside before dinner and celebrations continue elsewhere on the estate. Inside, Sala Gran Camino, Sala delle Volte, Sala Piccolo Camino, Wine Cellar, La Torre and La Taverna offer character-filled alternatives, while the Pavilion brings the festivities back into the gardens.

COMO Castello Del Nero offers 50 rooms and suites within the main castle, allowing much of the wedding party to stay together on the estate. For additional privacy, Villa San Luigi provides a standalone villa experience within the property, with its own living spaces and a more secluded setting for families or groups travelling together.
