For sit down dinner receptions, this venue has a maximum capacity of 100 guests in two of their most charming areas, the restaurant and the top deck. For standing receptions in the top deck, you’re looking at a guest capacity of 175 people. At this venue you’ll found a fabulous deluxe wedding package for you to consider for your wedding day hire, which includes everything you could ask for.
If you’re concerned about London’s famously rainy weather, don’t be. This venue has the three covered options, or a marquee and tent coverage for the top deck area. There’s simply no need to worry about the weather.

If you’re after something a little more low-key, then perhaps you should consider marrying in a classic English pub. There are plenty of amazing and quirky little pubs in and around London, however you’ll find that many of them are too small for a table of 4, let alone an intimate wedding party. Yet you are in luck.
Located in Primrose Hill, Greater London, The Lansdowne Pub offers an idyllic first floor restaurant and function room to host your special day. This beautiful room that is flooded with natural light has lovely wooden floors and high ceilings complete with understated chandeliers. The room isn’t fancy, but it’s warm and inviting. In terms of food, you’ll find that this pub offers a blend of bold flavours from British and Mediterranean cuisines in their main restaurant. For events, they offer anything from canapes and pizzas to prosecco and a personalised sit down dinner menu.
Capacity wise, the Lansdowne can cater for 45 guests at a seated reception or 70 guests for a standing one. This makes is truly perfect for an intimate wedding. The Lansdowne Pub will adhere to your every want and need, delivering an occasion worth remembering for years to come.
If you’re after unique paired with historical significance, then you might want to consider St George’s Garrison Church. Situated opposite the Woolwich Barracks, this church fuses beauty and history for your special day. Accommodating no more than six weddings per year, this exclusive venue is truly something special.
Built between 1862 and 1863, this church’s life changed forever in 1944. During World War II, a bomb landed on the church which caused much of the interior to be lost in flames. Previous to this, the church had even been bombed during the First World War causing one of the treasured stained glass windows to be lost.
Remarkably this church still stands but is very much a ruin. Don’t let the fact that this church is open to the elements stop you from booking it for your wedding day, though. The supreme beauty of the ruins that remain are truly enchanting. The VC memorial and Venetian mosaics have survived the torment this building has endured and have been lovingly restored.
This Grade II listed building houses a beautiful memorial garden that is the perfect accompaniment to this unforgotten ruin that is a poignant reminder of our history. For a truly unique and exclusive wedding, St George’s Garrison Church is a perfect choice.
