Ronan Keating proposed to Storm Uechtritz… twice. And now the big day is almost upon us. With the rumour mill spinning about the wedding nuptials of the singer and his beau, a Scottish-inspired ceremony tipped, and a possible guest list of more than 200 attendees, we take a look at what we know so far.
Ronan Keating’s August 17 wedding is around the corner and reports are flying fast and thick in concerning just about every aspect of the couple’s big day, everything from a speculated location to the dress the bride may don on the big day.
The Scottish Express have tipped the wedding will be carried out in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland with the couple performing the ceremony at luxury golf club and country estate Archerfield House.
The pair are thought to be exchanging vows near the village of Direlton, which is just a short drive from Haddington.
Storm and her fiance are said to have chosen the venue after a family golfing trip earlier in the year, with the estate’s website quoting the When You Say Nothing At All singer as saying “what Archerfield have done here is unbelievable.
They’ve made it very special and very exclusive but at the same time it’s also very homely.”
The country house boasts awe-inspiring views of the Scottish coast, incredible spa facilities and, of course, an amazing golf course. In the past, it has catered for up to 200 guests along its waterside marina as well as intimate ceremonies in the main hotel.

In a recent interview with Hello! magazine, Keating explained how the big question was popped during their recent exotic island getaway, saying “everyone on the island was fast asleep and there we were, just the two of us, witnessing the most beautiful sunrise we’ve ever seen.”
Once back in his home country of Ireland, the singer got down on one knee once again and offered his long-time girlfriend a titanium band he designed himself. At its heart is a rather large – and blingalicious – oval diamond.
