I didn’t want your standard balloons and streamers for our engagement party. I wanted to keep it simple, but classy.
Being the crafty person I am, I wanted to make as many of the decorations myself as I could.
I used to make candles for fun and still have everything lying around at home, so I decided to make a bunch for the engagement party.
They only took about an hour to make and the result was awesome – and personalised.
I also went and bought some wooden “love” signs and painted them similar colours to the invitations as I wanted them all to match.
I also got some large jars and went and bought some white flowers and placed them on all of the tables with the candles.
