Finding a dress for my two bridesmaids was actually one of the things I wasn’t looking forward to. I looked for dresses that fitted all the clichés, it had to be pretty, it had to suit different body shapes and the age old “something the girls would wear again” – has anyone ever worn a bridesmaids’ dress after the wedding?
After a few searches I came across convertible dresses, a simple jersey dress with long pieces at the top of the dress, so you could style them 20 different ways. Problem solved – I pick the dress and the colour, the bridesmaids pick the style.
I found a few sites that had stunning dresses – none more so than TwoBirds Bridesmaids, the dresses were amazing but they are a bit pricey – which would have been fine if I was buying the dresses – as the girls were paying for their dresses and it seemed a bit too much to ask.
So back to the drawing board and I found similar dresses at Victoria’s Secret. Not quite the same fabric but still very nice, so these are the front runners at the moment.
