White Balloon Films

Alina is the creative genius behind White Balloon Films. A graduate of film and animation from the London College of Communication, I am blessed to not only be married to this wonderful person but to be in business with her too. Alina is not only educated in film and animation but prior to the creation of White Balloon Films in 2012, worked at several of London’s premier production companies before moving to Glasgow and establishing her own company specialising in stop-motion animations for corporate clients. It is this foundation of technique and talent that underpins our approach at White Balloon Films and makes us quite unique.

How can I say this nicely… Stewart was a banker before he met me. Okay, well that’s not entirely true, "portfolio manager in London for one of the world’s leading hedge funds" as he likes to put it but "banker" rolls off the tongue a little easier! A few years on, Stewart is my extremely talented fellow camera operator and editor. As my husband, we work in a synchronised and coordinated way when filming, massively increasing the quality of our footage. It is a fantastic partnership characterised by my 'creativity' combined with his relentlessly analytical approach to filming.
