Teardrop Films

Teardrop Films is a vibrant and creative wedding filmmaking and videography company who specialise in capturing the atmosphere and emotion of every wedding we're luckily enough to be part of.

ased in Southampton, Hampshire, Teardrop Films is owned and run by me, Matthew Willsher. As a husband and father of two small girls, I have been making short films since I was 10 years old with Lego and my Dad's old Sanyo video-camcorder. I trained and worked as a Interior Designer before finding my love of filmmaking once again and set up Teardrop Films in 2009.

On days when I'm not shooting weddings or editing I'm spending time with my gorgeous family, playing non-league football or watching live music at gigs - and in fact held and organised a mini festival in my garden last Summer which we hope to become an annual event. I also love watching Ice Hockey - I am a big Vancouver Canucks fan since I lived there back in 2001 and I have a soft spot for Country music.

I believe that having a professionally made film of your big day is equally as important as the photographs. What better way to remember the details and laughter of the day then in real time and with real emotion by watching it as it unfolds.
