A place of beauty and tranquillity, Matara at Kingscote Park is set within 28 acres of glorious Cotswolds parkland.

Matara has been built on earth-friendly principles and provides the perfect setting for you to celebrate in a personal and individual way.

With its elegant Regency house, the peaceful Matara Centre and the beauty of the Gardens of Wellbeing, Matara is a magical place to celebrate any special occasion, including green weddings, civil ceremonies, renewals of vows, naming ceremonies, family gatherings and remembrance services.

We have planted hundreds of trees including oaks, beech, apple trees, rowan and groves of magnolia.

Land is set aside for wildlife and planted to encourage butterflies and bees. Skylarks nest in the meadows

Our food is fresh, seasonal, local, organic, from sustainable sources and free from animal cruelty.

We purchase as many environmentally-friendly, ethical and organic products as possible.
