Gate Street Barn

In the secluded setting of the Surrey Hills, 5 miles south of Guildford lies Gate Street Barn, a truly magnificent place for any special occasion. Gate Street Barn is built in the traditional style using wood from oak trees lost  on the farm in the 1987 hurricane. Gate Street Barn boasts beautiful landscaped gardens and views of the working organic farm and a hobby herd of English Longhorn cattle. There is ample all-weather parking.

It is important to note that we at Gate Street Barn do not make any additional charge to hold your wedding ceremony here. The only extra charges incurred are those charged by the registrar service themselves, details of which are below.

If you decide to have your ceremony at The Barn, please be sure to contact the Ceremony Booking Team on 0300 200 1002 at the same time to book the date with them. Registrars are very busy during the peak wedding season and the 2pm Saturday slot is the most popular.

To book Gate Street Barn after a visit, a non refundable deposit of 50% of the total hire cost is required with the balance due 2 months prior to the date of the event. Your date can be reserved after your initial viewing to allow time for you to book your ceremony and caterers and ensure their availability; the holding period is to be agreed with Gate Street Barn.
