The Old Rectory

A mere stones throw from the shore, on the edge of Hastings’ historic old town, the award winning Old Rectory provides luxurious accommodation within its elegant walls.

Described as ‘easy to reach and difficult to leave’, why not stay a night or two and enjoy our scrumptious locally sourced breakfasts, before exploring all that Hastings and East Sussex has to offer. Or perhaps, spend the afternoon relaxing in our beautiful walled garden with afternoon tea and the sound of seagulls overhead.

The Old Rectory is licensed to host weddings and civil unions. Ceremonies can take place in our elegant lounge or on our terrace within the delightful garden. We can cater for up to 50 guests with a wedding reception within the house and 80 guests with a Capri Marquee within our beautiful walled garden.

We pride ourselves on providing a personalised service to ensure that your very special day is exactly how you want it. Whether it’s a four course sit down meal,a barbecue in the grounds or a luxury high tea, we will take care of the details, so that you can just relax and enjoy the whole event.
