The Pullman Lodge Hotel

The Pullman is an independently owned hotel located on the beautiful coastline of Seaburn in Sunderland. Being an independent we are able to add the personal touch to your visit and focus heavily on customer service and quality whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism.

The Pullman Hotel complex reopened in 2013 after a major refurbishment. The Pullman is an iconic venue in the City of Sunderland with three original Pullman Carriages from the Orient Express forming the centre-piece of the hotel. It is from these carriages we draw our name.

All 14 of our hotel rooms have been refurbished and offer a comfortable and relaxing environment when staying with us. We also offer breakfast daily on the carriages so if you are staying with us there is no better way to wake up than dining on the Orient Express over looking the beautiful Sunderland coastline.

We serve quality food daily and feature an extensive entertainment programme each week including live music, quizzes, themed nights and comedy nights. Platform 5 has been refurbished to replicate a train station and even has an original railway carriage in the bar in which you can dine and relax.

We also host one of the most beautiful private function rooms in the North East with two private terraces (1 with sea views), making a magnificent setting for weddings and other functions whether they be birthdays, anniversaries, christenings or conferences.
