Our restaurant uses recipes with local, fresh and seasonal foods. Completely delicious. We love making people happy at Weddings and private parties - and we know that when you can’t get time off for these celebrations, you may want to have business meetings and corporate days out, which you'll want to hold in a thought-provoking and relaxed environment.

We have twenty-seven standard, superior and deluxe bedrooms. When we took over the hotel we decided to knock a lot of rooms about and join some together to make really nice sized bedrooms. We'll get some Egyptian cotton for the bed linen, put a powerful shower in every bathroom, sneak in some complimentary organic vodkas by your bed, have our own wizard mix up some wonderfully aromatic bathroom products and fill the rooms with some pretty original and comfortable furnishings using Burghley House for ideas. No Veroneses on the walls but lots of character.

We offer local, fresh, simple and seasonal food. Not complicated at all, but very tasty. Lots of choice, great service and fun atmosphere. There will be a small but perfectly formed wine list with a nice range of ‘bin end’ and ‘specialty’ wines. No tail coats, starch or presumption - just very friendly.
