The bull hotel is peterborough’s premier hotel, and is the only aa recognised four star hotel in the city centre. The bull is the ideal place to stay for business or pleasure as the hotel is conveniently located in westgate, at the heart of the business, entertainment and shopping districts of the peterborough. The hotel is positioned directly opposite the entrance to queensgate shopping centre, the largest of its kind in east anglia, providing weather free access to the hotel on foot from peterborough railway station which is only a few minutes away, and probably quicker than taking a taxi!

The hotel is also convenient for travelling to the wider area with easy access to the major road and railway networks. Heathrow, stanstead, and gatwick airports are just over an hour away by car.Originally dating back to the seventeenth century, this grade two listed building has, over the years, been carefully restored and tastefully refurbished, to provide guests with a high degree of four star comfort, whilst our friendly and efficient staff offers service and hospitality which is unrivalled in the city. There is ample secure and free car parking for all hotel guests whilst staying at the hotel, via the entrance in fitzwilliam street.

We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at the Bull Hotel who's attention to detail ensured that our big day ran smoothly. The tables looked superb and it was obvious that time and trouble had been taken to place everything to perfection. Our guests all commented on how wonderful the food was (we chose the fork buffet) and that there was plenty of it! It was a massive help having a wedding co-ordinator who ensured that nothing was forgotten in the busy run up to our big day. We would certainly recommend the venue to anyone considering a wedding venue in Peterborough and would not hesitate to book the Bull for any other large family gatherings. Thank you.

We married at the Bull 23/08/14. Prior to this we had a number of preparatory meetings with Rachel who was extremely helpful at all times and assisted us no end. On the day itself everything went extremely well couldn't have gone smoother. The dinner was fabulous and the venue perfect. The Bull helped make it a day to remember that everyone enjoyed.Thank you to everyone involved.

We had a fabulous day on our wedding day. The venue were very accommodating of our needs when we needed to move the date forward 5 months. The staff were so welcoming and did a wonderful job on the day when a few people needed meals changing for one reason or another. The venue were perfection in the run up to the day and provided a fabulous experience. We chose this venue without looking at any others and we are so glad we did we had a wonderful worry free day the staff took control of everything needed. We also had the opportunity to taste the food we wanted before the day.
