We had a wedding here last Saturday and wow did we really luck out with the weather! We enjoyed canapes and champagne in the sunshine overlooking the Thames before going inside. The venue has floor to ceiling glass windows which meant that we could still enjoy the view - the Shard is right in front of the Thames and looks amazing lit up at night. The food took a little long to come out but I guess there were 200 or so of us. The toilets were also out of order on our floor which meant that we had to go downstairs to use them - slightly inconvenient. The meat-eaters described their fillet steak as 'the best they had ever had.' Then we partied long into the night (well I didn't, as I was put too bed at 11pm - too many cheeky Espresso Martinis me thinks.) But staff were polite and friendly and the view was second to none.

The setting was amazing, right on the riverbank with a view of the Shard, London Bridge and HMS Hind on the far bank. The weather was amazing so we availed of the amazing exclusive outside area and also inside. The service from the beginning was excellent, the food was even better. The staff could not have been better, and all run by a blond girl who seemed to have everything under control, sorry I cant remember her name. I can't recommend the venue highly enough, but just to say you must visit for either a 'jar' or certainly think of it as a venue for your special event. Thanks again Guys for adding to such a great day.

What a place - right on the River Thames. We were so blessed with the weather. Staff were amazing and everything went swimmingly. Food was perfect and beautifully presented. The staff were really so attentive and helpful. We will go back to this venue to have a meal. Brilliant day and thank you to everyone at The Oyster Shed.

We celebrated our wedding at The Oyster Shed in August 2019 and had the most fantastic day. We could not fault The Oyster Shed – from the support before to the food and service on the day they were brilliant. Justyna, their event manager, was incredibly helpful, quick to reply and very accommodating. She took away a lot of potential stress in the lead up and made sure the day itself ran smoothly. The staff on the day were amazing. Our guests have commented on how much fun they were and they helped make it a relaxing evening for all. The food was great and the meal ran smoothly. Our speeches overran and the staff made sure our evening guests were made to feel welcome which we really appreciated. The day after the wedding we collected vases etc. and everything was packed up neatly and ready to go which made our life so much easier. We could not recommend The Oyster Shed enough for your wedding (or event) they were brilliant from start to finish and helped make our day.

We had our wedding at The Oyster Shed two weeks ago. I have to say that the quality of service and organisation we received from start to finish was exceptional, from the wine and food tasting right through to set up and service on the day. Our guests loved the venue and atmosphere as well as the food and wine selections. We could not have chosen a better venue for the day and would not hesitate to highly recommend them for anyone looking to get married in such an iconic location. A massive thank you to Chris and the whole Oyster Shed team for an incredible day and for making central London weddings affordable!

Wow what a wonderful place for a wedding reception. Look no further. Amazing unusual venue, fantastic views across the river of the Shard. The staff were so accommodating and sensitive, and after months of planning we really felt that they were in control of the rest of the day. The food was just wonderful, beautifully presented, fabulous flavours, good wines. Picked up a few boxes we had to leave today and stayed for lunch and we were not disappointed. Same excellent attentive service and fabulous food. Whenever you are in London take a visit, you will not be disappointed.

We held a wedding reception here and the attention to details was outstanding. The chef took great pride in the food quality and presentation and it was 5 stars!! The staff went above and beyond to make sure that the wedding reception went off without a hitch!! We could not have been more pleased with our selection of the Oyster Shed and highly recommend it!! Attended a wedding reception here. Venue worked perfectly for food and dancing into the night as well as outside space for chillaxing in the sunset over the Thames. The staff were great and the food was top notch. Rounded off with a great selection of whisky! Recommended!
