Kachette is a popular Shoreditch venue located under the overground railway bridge on Old Street in the original ticket hall of Shoreditch Station, which operated from 1865 to 1940.

The venue consists of two beautifully restored railway arch spaces with exposed Victorian-era brickwork, open rigging, a stunning black gated entrance and arched door and its trademark train station clock, which is situated inside the venue foyer. All of this gives Kachette its vintage charm.

The venue is also fitted with sound systems in both arches. With 3,000 sq ft space available across both railway arches, the versatile dry hire venue can be configured to accommodate your wedding ceremony, seated banquet dinner and/or standing reception.

Kachette is a fantastic event space, there are different areas depending on how many people you plan to attend. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Its also very close to transport links which is always good.

Kachette was a great venue and worked well for both daytime and evening elements. The onsite team and security were all a pleasure to work with throughout the event.

We live in East London and after looking at a few different local venues, we were recommended Kachette by a close friend. After looking around, we knew it ticked all the boxes. Located in an old Underground station, it had two amazing exposed brick arches, was right in the middle of Shoreditch, close to the Town Hall and had bags of character. Because the venue had two separate rooms, we could have the wedding breakfast in one Arch and the party in the other without people having to hang around whilst things were set up. We were also able to extend the license until 2am so we didn’t have to stop the party early which was also big thing for us.

We chose Kachette because of its cellar vibe and great location! The space offered us the perfect canvas to create our dark and sophisticated look and feel. The management team are extremely helpful and accommodating.
