BALTIC is one of the most iconic buildings in the north east and offers a stylish and unique location for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and receptions.

The striking River Terrace (located on the mezzanine level overlooking Gateshead Millennium Bridge), is a spacious venue which sets the stage for an elegant and stylish wedding. Fully licensed for civil ceremonies the River Terrace is a wonderful location to tie the knot. The room comfortably accommodates up to 150 seated. With a bar area the River Terrace is also available for wedding receptions. The space is a chic and elegant space for wedding breakfasts and can hold up to 250 people for wedding celebrations, drinks and dancing.

Six can accommodate dining parties of up to 110 guests. Six’s Viewing Lounge located at the front of the restaurant provides a stunning location for a champagne and canape reception. For those looking for a more intimate wedding, Six’s Viewing Lounge is also available for smaller civil ceremonies accommodating 25 guests.

Level 1 is BALTIC’s largest event space. With tall white walls and natural pine flooring it offers the grandeur and scale of one of the galleries exhibition floors. This blank canvas can be dressed to impress and allows couples to create their perfect day.
