Kew Gardens is arguably one of the most iconic outdoor wedding venues in South West London. Its astounding history as a botanical research and educational institution has gained international acclaim, with 50,000 living plants growing within its World Heritage Site. Kew Gardens weddings are even able to take place in the Temperate House, the oldest Victorian glasshouse in the world. This spellbinding conservatory contains an emporium of exotic plants, ponds and rare species of flora. Kew’s manicured gardens, significant history and touch of royalty makes it hard not to fall in love with.

Kew Gardens weddings are organised within several tiered in-house packages, which allow you to hire more than one space within your desired time frame, with a selected caterer from their supplier list. With several function spaces speckled across the site, such as the airy Nash Conservatory, the elegant Orangery or the striking Princess of Wales Conservatory, your guests will be transported through Kew Gardens on a one of a kind botanical adventure. All of the wedding spaces are open-plan, boasting high ceilings with grand arched windows allowing for a constant stream of natural light, which is sought after by London’s best photographers.

The possibilities are endless at Kew Gardens, and it lends itself well to host Asian wedding celebrations given the larger capacity of some of the reception spaces. However, if you are seeking something more intimate within the grounds of Kew Gardens, the former royal residence of the Duke of Cambridge, ‘Cambridge Cottage’, might be what you’ve been looking for. This quaint residence accommodates up to 80 guests for a seated meal, and it is possible to host your ceremony outside, facing its picturesque French windows. Kew Gardens has an impressive variety of venues to host the botanical London wedding you’ve always dreamed of.

We hosted a wedding (ceremony, reception, and evening party) in Cambridge Cottage. Setting was lovely; staff were very helpful. Gardens (including free access for guests) added a special touch, and were wonderful for photos.

I just don't know where or how describe our night that evening, but all I can say that is that it was absolutely stunning. Everything was so well planned and elegantly laid out in such a creative way. Really loved it.

I had the good fortune to attend a wedding in Kew gardens and got to experience it across a number of levels. Both the gardens and houses are spectacular and one could easily spend a number of days exploring and enjoying each area. When I visited, the weather was sunny which added more to the beauty. I took a tram tour and the guide was both humorous and quirky. Thoroughly worth a visit.

Royal Botanical Garden, commonly known as Kew gardens is a garden with numerous collection of plants around the world. The sites is well planned to the extent that wedding reception are held in the conservatory; offering the guests a breathe taking views of plants of different species in their conditioned habitats. My experience was awesome. Spectacular views of nature.
Ahemmer .
Great quaint venue for events such as a wedding, with its own garden backing out into the botanical garden itself.
Sara M
It's really nice & beautiful! However, the big greenhouse, could really do with a clean! I know it's an old building, full of history, but it really does need a spruce up! Also, for such a renowned place,I was surprised that so many of the plants look dead or dying!
Viviene D
We had a ride round Kew gardens on the little train as part of the wedding celebrations. The ceremony was at Cambridge cottage on the Kew site. Lovely venue for a wedding.
Mira&Bavin D
You really are amazing at what you do and we are very lucky to have had you around on the day!
Christina R
Amazing experience. Couldn't have been more perfect!
Simon H
We held my son's wedding in Kew Gardens, using three of the buildings including the Orangery for dinner and dancing, the Nash Conservatory for a blessing and the Princess of Wales Conservatory for drinks. It was a huge success. The staff under the management of Trent were brilliant, the locations stunning and it all came together to give us all a memorable day. You have to out by midnight which is no bad thing. Strongly recommended.
Syreen F
A great piece of paradise right outside of London.
Peter B
Stunning and very well put together. Being amongst so much natural beauty, even in late February, was really doing us good. Staff everywhere were always very helpful and considerate too.
Svetlana S

We held our wedding reception at Cambridge Cottage earlier this month and I cannot speak highly enough of the team and the staff. The Drawing Room and Gallery are beautiful spaces for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather on the day so were able to make the most of the private garden for our drinks reception and group photos. As part of the package, Kew provided a buggy and driver to take us and our photographer to three locations in Kew Gardens for our couple photos. We also booked the Kew Explorer train which took us and all our guest on a guided tour of the Gardens. The staff, particularly Joanna, were really helpful in planning the day and on the day itself.

Kew Gardens will always have a special place in my heart. Not only because we had our wedding day there, but because it provides us Londoners an oasis where we can escape the noise and the crowds and be surrounded by nature. It was the perfect place to start our marriage and life together.
Daphne C
Everything went without a hitch and all the guests were very complimentary about the venue and general organisation. Of course Cambridge Cottage is a wonderful location and has such a great sense of occasion but it was your pre-event hard work and that on the day which meant that we the bridal party could confidently enjoy the party without any worries. Laura and I have really enjoyed working with you. Thank you so much for helping to make the day complete and the talking point for all our friends and family for years to come... Many many thanks.
Wesley B

Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the team. The day went extremely well and we couldn’t have been happier. Our immediate family were very happy with the service and the running of the complete day. Our guest absolutely loved the venue. Since our first visit, you all have been nothing but accommodating and easing us with all the planning and we couldn’t thank you enough for that. Please forward our thanks to the Kew events team.

The occasion couldn't have been bettered and for February we had sunshine all day. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the catering arrangements were superb. The gardens are quite stunning and the exhibition of orchids in the Princess of Wales Conservatory was unmissable.

Lovely green backdrops with amazing historical plants and trees, plus stone made gates. Beautiful settings for wedding preshoots.

Stunning experience, the garden sports an extensive greenhouse divided by climate zones, with a pond and plenty exotic fishes in addition to several plant species. We visited during a wedding and it was quite the experience, they organized drinks and tours in the greenhouses and showed us around.
