The Shropshire is the perfect Wedding venue, set in rolling Shropshire countryside away from the hustle and bustle of a town centre location, The Farmhouse offers stunning views across green fields from not only the main room itself but also from its secluded and private gardens.

The Farmhouse Suite is a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception room and can accommodate up to 90 for a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast, and 150 for an evening reception. With its own private entrance and lounge bar the suite is completely self-contained, away from the day to day business of the golf centre, and has panoramic views over the golf course.

The Shropshire is situated on the outskirts of Telford. Within easy reach of the M54 and A5, The Shropshire is easy to get to, has ample free parking and offers stunning facilities and attentive service.

We are committed to supporting you in the planning and organisation of your wedding to ensure your special day is truly perfect. A dedicated wedding co-ordinator. Available to help you plan, organise and guide you when needed.

Exclusive use of our 19th Century Farmhouse with private Library Bar Licenced to carry out civil ceremonies. Secluded and private gardens along with 250 acre golf course for those all-important wedding pictures.

There can only be one word to describe our wedding at the Shropshire...PERFECT! The all-inclusive wedding package had actually been recommended by a friend and the first thing that hit us was the price...we booked a viewing and within 30-minutes had set our wedding date, giving ourselves just 6 months to wait for our big day! From the day of booking, we got the impression that everything was in hand...Sian (our organiser) clearly explained everything we needed to do, chopped and changed the schedule to suit what we were looking for and made the whole process so easy and stress-free (the very fact that I, the bride, can describe anything as stress-free is truly astonishing)! In fact, every single member of the team we had the pleasure of meeting was incredibly helpful, relaxed and extremely accommodating, making it possible for everyone to enjoy our celebrations, including one of our grandparents with mobility issues - something that was really important to us! Then there came the day itself...the ceremony was perfectly intimate, the food (breakfast, canapés and buffet) were amazing, and we literally did not have to lift a finger; needless to say by home time there were two incredibly happy newly-weds! The Shropshire gave us the opportunity to have the wedding of our dreams for a price we didn't even think was possible...we really couldn't have asked for more from the staff, the setting or the day itself and will be forever grateful.

got married yesterday 5th April 2015 !! Well what can I say I would recommend this venue to any1 looked for a perfect day ! Sharn ! Was absolutely amazing nothing was to much for her and she is amazing at her job ! I travelled about 1 hour to get to this venue it was worth it my guest loved the grounds and the farm house ! We also had the marque !! JUST beautiful !! All I can say is good things for this venue !! Food was 5* ! Our day was perfect ! Thank the Shropshire golf centre x

Lovely venue, great food and really nice relaxed atmosphere. staff were great. we were allowed in the day before to dress the room which helped. i really enjoyed the free golf day for me and the best man! thanks everyone looking forward to coming back for our friends wedding next year
