Overview
Woodhill Hall is the perfect setting in which to hold your Civil Wedding Ceremony or wedding reception. Woodhill Hall offers you exclusive use for 2 or 3 night weekend breaks for you and up to 26 guests to stay in our wonderful country house, surrounded by the splendour of the Northumbrian countryside.
Exclusive Hire of the Venue
We specialise in offering unique and affordable weddings. We are not a hotel and therefore offer more flexibility so that you can make your special day truly unique. You will not be bumping into any other bride on your wedding day as we offer exclusive use of the hall.
You decide on the use of the rooms and what happens and when. Couples are amazed at the freedom we allow them to plan out their special day. It isn’t our job to tell you how to celebrate your wedding – we are here to make your dreams happen.
We do not impose a minimum number of guests for weekend weddings or insist that you use our in-house catering. You are welcome to bring in your own caterers, subject to a surcharge.
The Ceremony
We are licensed for civil ceremonies in the Orangery for up to a 100 guests. For more intimate weddings of up to 20 guests, the Hall with its stunning staircase is licensed for civil ceremonies. The dining room with its imposing chandelier with original panelling is perfect for ceremonies for up to 30 guests
