Mar Lodge

Surrounded by exquisite scenery, Mar Lodge is a wonderful venue for civil, religious and humanist ceremonies. Within the Lodge, wedding vows can be exchanged in the Great Hall on the balcony of the grand staircase or in the bright and spacious Drawing Room.

Ideal for drinks receptions, the stylish interconnecting public rooms allow guests to relax, mingle and enjoy the surroundings, before dinner in the beautifully appointed Craggan Ballroom or elegant Dining Room.

From the Lodge, a short stroll through the grounds leads to the amazing Stag Ballroom for ceilidhs, dancing and the evening's festivities. A unique timber building displaying some 2,500 stag antlers dating from the Victorian era, the Stag Ballroom is also available for ceremonies, dinners and parties. For larger wedding receptions a marquee can be erected on the estate's vast lawns.
