If you are planning a lavish wedding, with guests flying from all over the world a central location is imperative. With a Central London postcode, this phenomenal hotel enjoys an exciting city setting, surrounded by some of London’s best bars, theatre and nightlife.

On the fourth floor, there is a large, leafy rooftop garden with sweeping views over the London skyline, accommodating 100 guests for a reception. The tranquil setting of Ham Yard's quirky rooftop terrace is a faultless spot for a ceremony of up to 75. The lounge area is scattered with Whitman benches, upholstered seating, Indonesian art installations, watched over by two ancient olive trees, surrounded by apple and pear fruit trees and seasonal flowers. Have guests facing the driftwood table decorated with flowers in your chosen colour scheme to add a personal touch to your ceremony. This green oasis, a world away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below, is a picture prefect opportunity for those all important wedding photographs.

The retro candlelit Croc Bowling Alley is a charismatic private events space which houses an original 1950’s bowling alley. The silver baby grand piano, South African made sofas and two large scale Howard Hodgkin artworks give a lounge feel. Opt for a central dessert station to perfectly capture the fun, bold elements of the room.

The sumptuous rooms of the Ham Yard Hotel are ideal places to stay. Each room is generously sized and features floor-to-ceiling-length windows overlooking the leafy courtyard or across Soho. A dingy-patterned Terrace Suite, which has its own powder room, and outdoor lounging space with city vistas, is a fetching choice for the wedding night.

The state-of-the-art screening room is a unique setting for speeches. The walls are lined with electric blue wool, with shrinking tangerine orange leather seats and bright fuchsia pink silk curtains framing the stage. As well as an exclusive dress circle balcony, there are two beautifully appointed green rooms complete with mini bar, shower, sofa and desk. When asked about their favourite memories from their Ham Yard Hotel wedding, one couple replied “We both agreed that our favourite moment was sitting in the private cinema .. [and] … see all of our guests and the reaction to the films clips … It was a totally surreal and humbling moment to get to see all those people there to celebrate our love”.
