The Wharf

We chose The Wharf as the venue for our wedding reception after being impressed by the look of the venue and the quality of the food. It's also very reasonable with the pricing being based around minimum spend. It also has the benefit that you are able to arrive by boat which we took advantage of. All through the run up to the Wedding they were extremely helpful with the organising of the day and being able to pick three options for each course really enabled us to cater for everyone's taste rather than the restricted options you get at most weddings. On the day itself the staff couldn't have been more helpful and our guests loved the view and particularly the food. Not only the 3 course lunch but also the canapes and (much needed!) bacon rolls in the evening. After the lunch we moved from the lovely main restaurant to the space upstairs which was great for a DJ and a decent sized dance floor as well as lots of room for people to sit and chat. We had a great day overall and The Wharf certainly played a big part in that - I would definitely recommend it for a big event but also for a quiet dinner.

We held our wedding reception at The Wharf and it was excellent. In the planning leading up to the day itself, Barbara was amazing and everything dealt with in a prompt and helpful manner. On the day itself the team at the Wharf were fantastic. We had so many lovely comments from our guests about how helpful everyone was, the amazing food, and what an incredible venue it was - right on the River Thames at Teddington Lock. Everything went off without a hitch, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my wedding reception.Thank you so much!!

We were so delighted by the day as the rain held, the sun shone when we needed it to.....but it was a bit windy! The veil didn't last long (!) but the river landing was a spectacular way to begin a party. We are so pleased we chose the Wharf. I can't thank you and the staff enough for how you accommodated to our needs. The culturally diverse food and drink was important. And we very much enjoyed the Wharf wedding menu. The reception and music was 'a blast' as my US cousins would say! These are pics from guests but I thought you would like to see. Maybe more later when Susie finishes hers off. We just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU for helping to make our big day so very special. From the minute we walked in off the street on a 'whim' all those weeks ago until the day itself, you and your team have been superb. In particular Richard and the team worked so hard on the day to make sure everything ran beautifully. I was so confident that it was totally under control that I was able to just sit back, relax and enjoy the experience like everyone else. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received from our guests about the high quality of the food, the caliber of the service and the location of the restaurant. I think you've won yourselves a few more customers!! We've been told that the photos will take a few weeks, but we'll send them over as soon as we get them. Many, many thanks once again for all your support.

Nick and I would like to thank you both for organising such lovely weather for our wedding last Saturday – oh, and the venue and food weren’t bad either!! We had a wonderful day, everything went smoothly and all our guests complimented us on the lovely setting and the delicious food. Your staff were brilliant, especially the lovely gentleman who wrapped the leftovers into foil doggy bags for us to take away and we are sure that some of our guests who live locally and have never been to The Wharf will come back and eat with you as they were so impressed.
