• Our Whitehall suite which can hold 200-250 for ceremony, the River Room and Meston Suite can both hold 60-70 for ceremony and our Reading and Writing room which can hold 100-140 for ceremony. 
• For your wedding breakfast and receptions, we have plenty of options for a range of guest numbers and styles.
• The Gladstone Library can hold 320 for a standing reception, 250 for a sit-down meal and 180 for a sit-down meal and dancefloor. Our Gladstone library interconnects with our Reading and writing room which can hold 280 for a standing reception and 120 for a site down meal. 
• The Whitehall Suite can hold 280 for a standing reception, 180 for a sit-down meal and 150 for a sit-down meal and dancefloor. 
• The River room and Meston Suite can both hold 80 for a standing reception and 70 for a sit-down meal. 

About the venue

One Whitehall Place at the Royal Horseguards Hotel is a historic Grade II listed wedding venue with ornate details at every turn. Choose from the four splendid licensed rooms and make a show stopping entrance via the oval shaped marble staircase. The largest event space is The Gladstone Library, a hidden gem with 30,000 book replicas lining its walls. Create a memorable celebration inside the library, surrounded by the historic book spines and decorative fairy lights on the upper minstrel gallery. The adjoining Reading and Writing room makes a perfect pre-dinner reception space, with its impressive wall murals, historic fireplaces and soaring ceilings.

Another large events space on the lower level is The Whitehall Suite, a magnificent ballroom used by the former National Liberal club as a billiard room. Its grand double height ceilings, dance floor and lofty windows create a theatrical sense of scale.
