Winton House - Scotland

Winton lands predate the Magna Carta; the Setons built the House before Leonardo da Vinci established his reputation. Their architect, the King's Master Mason, did not work on ordinary castles! His carved, twisted chimneys still herald the palace within. His ornate plaster ceilings are the most elaborate in Scotland.

Winton House is a private house and Scottish Castle for hire. It is far from cold and its grandeur is not aloof; you are welcomed warmly as a guest into a home (mine!).

Winton House can be exclusively yours for memorable corporate events, gala dinners, incentive events, private parties & private events. The House’s interconnecting reception rooms are ideally laid out for conferences & meetings combined with team building events and team building activities in the gardens.

The team building events on offer range from clay pigeon shooting Scotland, falconry and golf holidays, to the Winton Highland Games, whisky tasting Edinburgh, and wine and Champagne tasting. Up to 16 people can sleep in Winton House’s historic rooms, and 26 more can stay in our two 4 and 5 star luxury self catering farmhouses (ideal for big groups, golf holidays and family parties).
