Designed by prolific architect, this hybrid hotel and member’s club derives its name from Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens’ creative vision that has stood the test of time. Inside, the remarkable interiors transport you back to the glamorous 1920s era. In the ‘belly’ of the building, there are nine different restaurants with global culinary inspirations, and the original banking desks have been artfully upcycled into trendy cocktail bars. Despite its sheer size, the vintage velvet furnishings, African Verdite stone pillars and chintzy fringed lampshades give a cosy atmosphere.

Upstairs, newly weds can make the most of the Ned’s gym, spa, sauna or the pool, or take in the sweeping city skyline from the roof terrace. The Cheeky Nails bar, speakeasy style barber shop and hair salon will also provide all pre-wedding pampering. As for the wedding ceremony and reception spaces, all private events take place on the sixth floor. The Tapestry Room is the largest space, accommodating up to 120 seated guests and 200 standing. Its name reflects the beautiful pastoral tapestry that lines the upper walls of the room, above the historic walnut panelling. The Saloon is an elegant alternative venue for 70 seated guests and 120 standing. The restored parquet flooring, ornate 18th century chandelier create a spectacular setting to say your vows.
