One of our two wedding venues in Essex and winner of Wedding Ideas Magazine ‘Best Wedding Venue’ 2011 and Essex Wedding Awards ‘Wedding Venue of the Year – Heritage’ 2012, Gosfield Hall is a stunning Georgian manor house offered exclusively to you for your wedding day.

Formerly a Royal residence, the Queen Charlotte’s Oak panelled gallery with a 120ft long aisle is perfect for wedding ceremonies and the newly licensed carriageway is a gorgeous location for outdoor ceremonies on sunny days.

There are also 21 beautiful bedroom suites offered to you exclusively for your wedding night, providing the perfect end to your day at Gosfield Hall.

The Marquis of Buckingham’s former ballroom provides an exquisite setting for the wedding reception meal for up to 116 guests and there are also several grand and ornate reception rooms for you and your guests to enjoy. As we offer exclusive use of the entire house you can also invite up to 250 guests for the evening wedding reception and party.

Our wedding at Gosfield Hall was just amazing. The house is beautiful and all the staff were amazing. Highly recommend anyone to get married here. Also a lot of our guests said that it was the best wedding menu that they've had. Happy all round

Our wedding at Gosfield Hall in August was perfect and everything we wanted. All the staff at Gosfield were great but our front of house manager Catherine was so amazing and made the whole day run smoothly and understood what we wanted. All of our guests loved the venue, the food and the rooms. It really is a beautiful place to get married and the bridal suite is the best I have ever seen. We would highly recommend the venue to anyone.

My Husband and I had THE best wedding day at Gosfield Hall on the 15th October. Catherine our front of house manager worked so hard as did all the staff. Our guests couldn't have been more complimentary about every aspect of the day. The food was second to none, Luke the DJ played a great mix of songs in between the band we had, I honestly couldn't have asked for more. A special shout out to Emma for coming to the rescue with a sewing kit as well! I can't wait to go back and celebrate our First Anniversary!
