Based around a 16th Century building and family home and sympathetically extended and updated over the years, Forrester Park offers the best of all worlds – a traditional setting with up-to-the-minute facilities and excellent service.

Forrester Park is located in beautiful countryside mid-way between Colchester and Chelmsford and within ten minutes’ drive of Tiptree, Maldon and Witham. It has been established for over 40 years and is renowned for its friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Set in beautiful countryside beside a parkland golf course, Forrester Park is an independent venue which has been hosting wedding celebrations for over 30 years. It is available all year round for exclusive hire and is registered for civil ceremonies. Forrester Park is a traditional style building, parts of which date back to the 16th century. Behind the scenes is a fully equipped top quality catering operation with its own team of experienced chefs.

The Millennium Lawn outdoor ceremony area is set in its own ‘secret garden’.  It offers beautiful views over the golf course and surrounding countryside while providing a secluded space for you to celebrate your marriage vows.

The rural setting makes a beautiful backdrop for photographs, and you are free to treat the area as a ‘blank canvas’ to decorate to your own taste. The Millennium Lawn can seat up to 150 for the ceremony and you may also wish to make use of our terrace and garden celebrating after the ceremony.
